Rangers International FC technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, stands out among the shortlisted nominees for the February LBA NPFL Coach/Player of the Month awards.
In the Coach of the Month category, Ilechukwu has been nominated alongside three other coaches by the League Bloggers Award (LBA) for guiding his team to four victories during the month.
Contending for the monthly award with Ilechukwu are coaches Mbwas Mangut of Plateau United, Meremu Okara of Bayelsa United, and Paul Offor of Sporting Lagos.
In the Players category, six outstanding nominees have been shortlisted:
- Chijioke Mbaoma (Enyimba)
- Godsgift Elkanah (Bayelsa United)
- Ibrahim Mustapha (Kano Pillars)
- Nenrot Silas (Plateau United)
- Nyima Nwagua (Rivers United)
- Tochukwu Michael (Sporting Lagos)
Each player has demonstrated exceptional performances during the month, with notable contributions to their respective teams’ successes.
The winners of these prestigious awards will be determined by a panel of Nigerian football experts and will be announced by the organizers, LBA, on Monday, March 11, 2024.
