Rangers Int’l announce signing of Bashir Usman

Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rangers Int’l have bolstered their squad with the signing of Bashir Usman from Niger Tornadoes on a two-year deal. The winger’s addition is a significant boost to the Flying Antelopes as they prepare to defend their title and compete in other engagements.

Usman expressed his excitement about joining Rangers, stating, “It’s a great deal for me to find myself in Enugu to contribute my quota towards helping Rangers do well in the league and on the continent.” He believes that with the quality players in the team, they will make their fans and supporters happy at the end of the season.

Rangers Int’l have been very busy throughout the summer transfer window. Usman joins a list of notable signings by Rangers in the off-season, including Tekena Gerando, Evans Ogbonda, Hillary Ekawu, Ernest Governor, Anayor Ogbonna, Lucky Abdullahi, Macben Otika, Ekeson Okorie, Somtochukwu Nwobodo, Chimaobi Igwilo, and Onyekachi Okafor.

Rangers Int’l will be hoping to confidently defend their 8th league title and also make impact in the CAF Champions league. The team will also be competing in other local top-flight tournaments and strengthening key positions ahead of the next season is a step in the positive direction.

The Enugu -based team’under the careful watch of coach Fidelis Ilechuckwu grabbed the 2023/2024 Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) with a record breaking 70 points, 5 points above second placed Remo Stars who alongside Enyimba will also be representing Nigeria in the  CAF Champions league.
