Just 15 minutes into the second half, Rodrygo doubled their advantage with a superb solo effort. He weaved past two defenders before cutting inside and curling a right-footed strike into the top corner, leaving Pachuca’s goalkeeper helpless.
In the 83rd minute, Vinicius Jr. sealed the win from the penalty spot. Oussama Idrissi fouled Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez inside the box, and Vinicius confidently converted the penalty, making it 3-0.
