Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz were on the scoresheet to help Chelsea FC defeat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 and reach the last-8 of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-1 aggregate score.
The Blues came into the game at Stamford Bridge trailing 0-1 following their first leg loss in Germany.

After a bright start which included having a Kai Havertz strike chopped off for Offside, Chelsea took a deserved lead after 37 minutes of toil when Raheem Sterling made up for his mistimed shot by firing into the roof of the net.
Graham Potter provided update that Kai Havertz was Chelsea’s new penalty taker and so when the Blues were awarded a penalty kick early in the second half following a handball incident, the German International stepped up for his new role.
Havertz hit the post with his first effort, but a VAR review for encroachment saved his blushes and he made no mistake with the retake to put Chelsea 2-0 up.
Both sides did toil fruitlessly for the rest of the game and it was Chelsea who were happy to bid time and see off a 2-0 win.
In the other UEFA Champions League Round of 16 game, Benfica ruthlessly dispatched Club Brugge 5-1 to reach the UEFA Champions League Quater-final.
