Henry Onyekuru has departed Turkish giants Galatasary after his parent club Monaco failed to agree a short term deal for the forward to finish the 2019/2020 season in Turkey.
Onyekuru joined Galatasaray on loan in January 2020, after struggling for playing time at his parent club AS Monaco, making just 4 Ligue 1 appearances with zero goals and 1 assist.
Galatasary paid a loan fee of €750,000 euros for the Nigerian international who bagged 16 goals and 6 assists in 44 games last season as Coach Fatih Terim side won the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup in the 2018/2019 season.
He signed a six-month loan deal with Galatasaray which expired on June 30.
The 23-year-old managed to rack up 16 appearances with 1 goal and 3 assists. He returns to French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco where he has a deal till 2024.
