Former Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf has signed a new two-year contract to remain as the Head Coach of seven-time NPFL champions Enugu Rangers.
The technical adviser expressed is readiness and desire to lead the Flying Antelopes to yet another NPFL title this season.
“For me, the current team we have in the league right now are good enough to challenge for the league title. When you look around the league, you will see how teams are preparing ahead of the new campaign because they are targeting to win the title just like we are preparing to win it too.
“I always respect all teams in the NPFL because they are in the premier league, any team that is in the league deserves some respect that you must work hard to beat them,” Enugu Rangers Coach Salisu Yusuf said.
Although highs and lows are expected in the coming seasons, Yusuf has assured fans in Enugu to expect more highs, with the aim to win the league title and cup double with the Flying Antelopes next season.
The League Management Company has again shifted the start of 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season to a new date of December 13, 2020, subject to confirmation by the league management body as Enugu Rangers set to rub shoulders with other top sides to challenge for the league glory.
