Super Eagles forward Moses Simon has emerged as a potential summer transfer target for Serie A side AS Roma, with the Italian giants reportedly keen on securing his services.
The 29-year-old has been a key player for FC Nantes since joining from Levante in 2019, making 191 appearances, scoring 35 goals, and providing 38 assists. However, with just a year remaining on his contract, Simon could be heading into his final season with the French club.

Roma are not the only team eyeing the Nigerian winger, as Ligue 1 sides OGC Nice—where compatriot Terem Moffi plays—and Olympique Marseille are also interested, setting up a potential transfer battle for his signature.

Speaking previously to L’Équipe (via Homme Du Match), Simon addressed why he had stayed at Nantes despite interest from bigger clubs:
“You can be at a bigger club, not play, and not be happy. Playing in the European Cup, of course, is something I have already experienced, but if it does not come… My job is Nantes,” the former Levante star said.

Despite his past commitment to Nantes, reports suggest Simon is now open to leaving France for a fresh challenge. A move to Roma could be an attractive option, offering him the opportunity to play in one of Europe’s top leagues.
