Super Falcons duo of Gift Monday and Rinsola Babajide propelled UD Tenerife to an emphatic 5-1 comeback victory over Deportivo La Coruña in their Liga F Round 14 clash.

Tenerife entered the match struggling for form and fell behind in the 25th minute when Henar Muiña fired Deportivo into the lead.

The second half, however, saw a remarkable turnaround, led by 23-year-old Nigerian forward Gift Monday.
She equalized in the 52nd minute with a powerful header from Aleksandra Zaremba’s pinpoint cross.
Twelve minutes later, Monday doubled her tally with a composed finish, putting Tenerife ahead for the first time in the game.

Her impact continued in the 76th minute when she provided a clever assist for Zaremba’s second goal, capping off a stunning all-round display.
Monday’s standout performance earned her the Player of the Match award and took her Liga F tally to six goals and two assists in 12 appearances this season.
Including her two goals in the Copa de la Reina, Monday now has eight goals for the season, already surpassing her total of six goals from the previous campaign.
Babajide Completes the Rout
Rinsola Babajide, another Nigerian star and Super Falcons teammate, also delivered a stellar performance.
The 26-year-old forward made it 3-1 in the 69th minute, converting a precise pass from Clau Blanco with clinical precision.
Babajide further contributed in the 81st minute, turning provider for Zaremba’s fifth goal to cap off the dominant display.
Babajide’s season tally now stands at five goals and two assists in 12 Liga F matches.
