Super Falcons-eligible prodigy joins Charlton Athletic on loan

Super Falcons-eligible prodigy Princess Ademiluyi has joined Charlton Athletic on loan from West Ham United in a move aimed at gaining valuable first team experience.

The 18-year-old forward, who signed a professional contract with West Ham upon turning 18, will play in the Barclays Women’s Championship, the second tier of women’s football in England.

Ademiluyi shortly after signing expressed her excitement about the move, praising the competitiveness of the Women’s Championship. “I feel amazing; it’s the best birthday that I could have wished for. I am very excited to play in the Championship because it’s competitive and can help me find my form and grow into the player I want to be,” she said on Charlton Athletic’s club site.
