Tola Faseluka, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development Ekiti State has tasked Ekiti United to beat Madiba FC in today’s Nigeria National League (NNL) opener in Lagos.
Mrs Faseluka threw this challenge to the Kehinde Anjorin led side before the team departure for Lagos yesterday.
Tola Faseluka said the Ministry would continue to ensure that the club under Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji led administration gets adequate support in terms of welfare packages.
“I followed your preseason preparation but you have to translate those good results now to the league proper by ensuring you start on a winning note on Tuesday in Lagos.
“A win against Madiba will be a confident-booster for you to start the new campaign. We will continue to support you with our prayers as you go make the State proud.
“Please, I urged you all to work as a team in other to make this come to fruition,” said the Permanent Secretary.
The encounter between Madiba FC and Ekiti United will kick-off by 2p.m at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
