TotalEnergies U-17 AFCON draw is set to be conducted on the first day of February 01, 2023 which is on Wednesday as announced by CAF.
The final draw for the TotalEnergies U-17 AFCON which will be hosted by Algeria will be conducted at the Cercle National de l’Armée in Algiers, Algeria.
CAF acknowledged that the ceremony which is scheduled at 12:00 local time (11:00 GMT, 13:00 Cairo time) will be live on CAF’s digital platforms and other various platforms including partner TV channels.
The draw follows the qualifiers that took place across the continent.
Eleven teams have joined hosts Algeria for the final U17 tournament: Morocco, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mali, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Cameroon, Congo and Zambia.
The U-17 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Algeria from 29 April to 19 May in the cities of Algiers, Constantine and Annaba, which are currently hosting the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship.
Furthermore, media outfits and individuals who are interested in covering the draw can apply for accreditation via the CAF Media Channel until 29 January 2023.
The 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations known as 2023 U17 AFCON for short and/or the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship purposes, will be the 15th edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations (20th edition if tournaments without hosts are included), the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 17 and below.
Any application made after this date will not be considered.
