Two players who are contracted to Vandrezzer FC, full-backs Roland Mfon and Ofonime Afangide has alleged the club is owing them salaries for five months.
Mfon, who claimed to have signed a three-year contract with the club in November 2019, on Wednesday posted on Facebook calling on the Nigeria Football Federation and other relevant bodies to come to his aide.
The right-back posted on Facebook saying: “I Roland Mfon do hereby write to intimate the Nigerian Football federation, the Nigerian National league Board , players Union, the Press and the General Public of the Breach of the 3years contract I signed with Vandrezzer f.c in November 2019.
“That I Vandrezzer FC has failed to Keep to our Financial agreements by without my due Consent failing in paying of my salaries from August 2020 till date.
“That all my pleas to the club has been Unprofessionally rebuffed thus frustrating my career and causing me emotional and psychological pains
“That I demand Justice by the release of my clearance and payment of my outstanding salaries to free me from this trauma as I aim to move on with my career,” the post read.
Another player, Afangide, who claimed he signed a two year contract in 2019 said the club is also owing him five months salary dating back to August 2020.
“I, Ofonime Afangide, do hereby write to intimate the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Nigeria National League(NNL) Board , Players’ Union, the press and the general public of the breach of the two-year contract I signed with Vandrezzer F.C. in November 2019.
“That Vandrezzer has without my due consent and that of other players failed in payment of salaries from August 2020 till date.
“I have gone through the most unprofessional treatment by VFC which is aimed at frustrating my career and causing me emotional and psychological pain as the club has refused to release my clearance paper despite weeks of begging.
“All I want at this time is the release of my clearance and payment of my outstanding salaries so I can move on with my career.”
