Vandrezzer FC Vs FC ONE Rockets: Lions face Rockets threat in shared territory

Vandrezzer FC and FC ONE Rockets will lock horns in a Nigeria National League week two encounter at the Eket Staduim today, Sunday March 26, 2023.

A local derby hosted by the Lions of Naija who are up against Rocket threats in a shared territory (Eket Staduim is home-ground for both clubs).

Both teams made winning starts to the 2023 Nigeria National League Season. On March 11, FC ONE Rockets were 2-1 victors of Warri Wolves in the official opening game of the season, while Vandrezzer FC defeated GO Round FC 1-3 in Omoku on wednesday March 22.

On the NNL Group B1 standings, Vandrezzer FC occupy top spot courtesy of a superior goal difference over FC ONE Rockets and Rovers FC of Calabar in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Coach Niambele Mohammed of Vandrezzer FC and his FC ONE Rockets counterpart Ndubuisi Ndah will prepare for this one with the lessons from their Akwa Ibom State FA Cup semi-final meeting last week.

FC ONE Rockets defeated Vandrezzer FC 2-1 in the keenly contested semi-final clash at the Practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Staduim Uyo.

Tickets are on sale for this game across designated points in Eket. Fans will pay 500 naira for the popular stand while the VIP tickets cost 1000 naira.

Football fans within Akwa Ibom state and beyond are looking forward to a very entertaining game between two free scoring teams who will fight for ” Lordship ” in the shared territory plus top-spot in the Nigeria National League Group B1.
