Victor Collins, Nassarawa United defender has expressed excitement over scoring his first Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) goal in the solid miners ‘ 2-2 draw with Akwa United, in a Matchday 13 encounter, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
The hard tackling defender in his comment after the game say that it is great and amazing feeling to score first NPFL goal.
“I feel great and amazing because is my first NPFL goal, ” said Collins.
“The team performed really well, and with the one spirit and togetherness we have in the team. I think we are in the right track to continue improving, and it would help us to fight for our relegation survival.”
“However, it is one step at a time as we prepare for our next home game, and hopefully we will be back to winning ways.”
Collins and the rest of the Nasarawa United team are already back in Lafia, as they continue preparation ahead of Matchday 14 home clash against Gombe United, on Saturday, at the New Jos Stadium, Jos.
