Nigeria’s interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has unveiled a 23-man squad for the Super Eagles’ upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.
The team will face Libya in a double-header, with the first leg taking place in Uyo on October 13 and the return leg in Benghazi on October 15.
Notable absentees include Victor Osimhen, who is nursing an injury sustained while playing for Galatasaray. However, in-form Victor Boniface has been called up to fill the void.
Chidera Ejuke returns to the Super Eagles fold after a two-year absence, joining forces with Sevilla teammate Kelechi Iheanacho.

Taiwo Awoniyi, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze are also part of the squad.
The defensive lineup remains largely unchanged, with William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, and Olaoluwa Aina retaining their spots.
Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo was tipped for a call-up but failed to make the cut.
