Nigerian international and Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen, has reassured fans that the injury he sustained during Saturday’s match against Kasimpasa is not serious.
Osimhen was substituted by Belgian international Dries Mertens after picking up a knock in the game. Speaking to BeIN Sports after the match, the Super Eagles striker confirmed that he was the one who requested to be taken off, clarifying that the injury was minor.

“My injury is not serious. I felt some discomfort and informed coach Okan Buruk, which is why I left the game,” Osimhen explained.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray this summer on loan from Napoli for the remainder of the season. Fans will be relieved to hear that the forward’s injury is not expected to keep him sidelined for long.
