The Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a change in schedule for the Day 3 match between Bendel Insurance FC of Benin and Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan.
The match, initially set for Sunday, has been rescheduled to October 2, 2024 [1).
According to Davidson Owumi, Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, the decision was made due to the 2024 off-cycle governorship election in Edo State, which restricts vehicular movement.
This clash would have caused logistical issues for the teams and fans.
