Yemi Enyimba Coach in Scotland

Enyimba’s new head coach, Yemi Olanrewaju, has made it clear that his primary goal is to secure victory for the club’s supporters.

Olanrewaju, who has recently taken over from Finidi George, is determined to meet the high expectations of Enyimba’s passionate fanbase.

In a video message posted by the club, Olanrewaju emphasised the importance of winning, stating, “When you come to Enyimba, nothing except winning. The only language the fans want to hear is winning, winning and victory – and this is what we want to give to our fans.”

Enyimba, who failed to defend their Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) title last season, is eager to bounce back and restore their former glory. Olanrewaju, who previously served as an assistant coach, is keen to lead the team to success and is already gearing up for the new season.

“We want the season to start soon,” he added. “Everybody has been doing their bit in training, the training has been intense. We want to win for the fans, we want to make all our fans all over the world happy by winning for them.”

Enyimba’s pre-season preparations include a notable fixture against their rivals, Enugu Rangers, in the Coal City Cup on August 1. This match is expected to be a key indicator of Enyimba’s readiness for the new campaign.

With Olanrewaju’s strong commitment to delivering results, the Enyimba faithful are hopeful for a successful season ahead.
