Nigerian defensive midfielder Daniel Daga has signed a pre-contract with Norwegian club Molde, with the official contract set to be finalized in January when he turns 18. This move puts an end to speculation regarding his future.
Last year, Daga was sought after by English club Watford and a leading Belgian team but no breakthrough arrived leaving Molde with the opportunity to launch their interest in the teenager.
His performances at the 2022 WAFU U20 AFCON qualifying tournament in Niger Republic, where the Flying Eagles secured a spot in the 2023 U20 AFCON, drew significant attention.

Unfortunately, Daga’s participation in the U20 AFCON in Egypt was cut short due to a knee injury sustained in a group stage match against eventual champions Senegal.
Despite this setback, he made a strong comeback during the U20 World Cup, where the Flying Eagles advanced to the quarterfinals.
In the previous season, Daga was on loan at Enyimba from FC One Rocket, showcasing his talent and potential on the field.
