Nweke played a crucial role in Rangers’ title success last season, scoring four goals in 29 appearances. His addition to Enyimba’s squad is expected to bolster the team’s midfield ahead of the 2024/25 NPFL season.

The midfielder’s decision to join Enyimba is a significant boost for the club, which has been strengthening its squad ahead of the new season. With Nweke’s creativity and experience, Enyimba is poised to challenge for the title.

Nweke’s move is the latest in a series of transfers in the NPFL, with players like Daniel Barnabas moving to El-Kanemi Warriors and Ifeanyi Anaemena rejoining Remo Stars. The NPFL season is set to kick off on August 31, with teams gearing up for what promises to be an exciting campaign.

In other news, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has named a new captain following Nacho Fernandez’s departure from the club. Meanwhile, former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has revealed that the NFF warned him not to invite certain players to the national team.

The NPFL season is highly anticipated, with fans expecting thrilling matches and competitive spirit from the teams. With the introduction of VAR and improved refereeing, the league is set to reach new heights.
