The striking black, red, and green jersey features a unique white zig-zag graphic inspired by African design traditions, paying homage to the club’s connections with the continent.

The launch featured a stellar lineup of African and Anglo-African players, including Thomas Partey, Mohamed Elneny, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Reiss Nelson, all showcasing the new away kit.

Labrum London founder Foday Dumbuya, who designed the kit, drew inspiration from his own experiences as a second-generation immigrant growing up in London. “These players were amazing role models to me, playing the game in a beautiful way, but also representing the wider community that I connect with,” he said.

The kit and accompanying capsule collection, which includes two jackets, a tee, a jumper, and a track pant, are now available online and in stores. Fans are eager to get their hands on the unique and culturally significant design, with many praising the meaning behind the kit.

“Arsenal kicking racism out via programs like this is why we’re not the same with other clubs,” said one fan on social media. The launch has received mixed reactions, but the club’s bold statement is clear: football is a universal language that transcends borders and cultures, and Arsenal is proud to be a beacon of inclusivity in the sport.

The new third away kit and capsule collection are a testament to Arsenal’s commitment to celebrating its diverse community and promoting cultural pride. As Foday Dumbuya said, “Arsenal as a club has a strong connection to this community, so it’s an incredibly proud moment for me to have collaborated on this design with them.”

With its African-inspired design and celebration of the club’s African heritage, Arsenal’s new third kit is a stunning addition to the team’s collection. It’s a must-have for fans eager to show off their team spirit and cultural pride.
