Team Nigeria eyes medals on day 11 of Paris 2024 Olympics

Team Nigeria is set to continue their quest for Olympic glory on Day 11 of the Paris 2024 Games, with several athletes competing across various events. In the canoe sprint event, Ayomide Powei Bello and Beauty Akinaere Otuedo will represent Nigeria in the Women’s Canoe Double 500m Heats at 10:00 AM at the Stade d’eau vive Vaires-sur-Marne. On the athletics track, Chinecherem Prosper Nnamdi will compete in the Men’s Javelin Throw qualification at 9:05 AM, while Ruth Usoro, Ese Brume, and Prestina Ochonogor will vie for spots in the Women’s Long Jump qualification at 10:15 AM.

Ella Onojuvwevwo will also get another chance to qualify for the 400m semifinals in the repechage round at 10:20 AM. These events will be crucial in determining Nigeria’s chances of advancing to the next round.
