Real Madrid Head Coach, Carlo Ancelloti, has revealed how his team managed to cage Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the UEFA Champions League clash vs Napoli on Tuesday.
Osimhen failed to hit target as Real Madrid walked off the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium with maximum points following a 2-3 win.
In his post match Interview, Carlo Ancelloti said of Osimhen; ” We wanted to be two against one with him, the central defenders did very well and didn’t give him any space behind them.
Ancelloti continued, ” Against Osimhen, it’s difficult not to suffer, especially on aerial balls but we did well.
This remarks by the experienced manager will further fuel speculation Real Madrid are monitoring the Nigerian International and could make a bid in the summer with his relationship with Napoli stretched negatively by recent events.
Osimhen is yet to get a Champions League goal this season but has already scored five times in the Italian Serie A.
