Napoli manager Antonio Conte has made it clear that he will not be getting involved in the ongoing transfer situation concerning Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to the Super Eagles forward has been training separately from the rest of the team since returning for the preseason.
Napoli recently suffered a heavy defeat to Hellas Verona, and questions arose about Osimhen’s absence from the match.

When asked about the situation, Conte was firm in his response. “This is a question you have to ask the club, not me,” Conte told Football Italia. “I see that Osimhen has been training separately since his return. You need to ask the club, not me. From the beginning, I’ve positioned myself as a spectator in this story.”
Conte’s remarks suggest that the matter of Osimhen’s future at Napoli is being handled at a higher level within the club, leaving the manager to focus solely on coaching the players at his disposal.
